أعلنت أكاديمية فنون وعلوم الصور المتحركة (الأوسكار)، الأربعاء، عن قوائمها القصيرة لجوائز الأوسكار 2022 لعشر فئات بما في ذلك فئة الأفلام الوثائقية والأفلام الأجنبية أو غير الناطقة باللغة الإنجليزية، التي من بينها فيلم عربي وحيد وهو "القفطان الأزرق" للمخرجة المغربية مريم توزاني، وبطولة النجم صالح بكري، بالإضافة إلى الفيلم البلجيكي Close، والفيلم الكوري الجنوبي Decision to Leave، والفيلم الألماني All Quiet on the Western Front، والفيلم المكسيكي Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths، إلى جانب الفيلم الباكستاني Joyland الذي يعتبر أول فيلم باكستاني يصل إلى القائمة القصيرة لجوائز الأوسكار.
كما أعلنت الأكاديمية، في بيان، القوائم القصيرة لفئات الأفلام الوثائقية القصيرة، والماكياج وتصفيف الشعر، والموسيقى الأصلية، والأغنية الأصلية، وأفلام الرسوم المتحركة القصيرة، والمؤثرات الصوتية والمرئية.
ومن الملفت للنظر تكرار بعض الأفلام في العديد من الفئات منها فيلم Avatar: the Way of Water الذي تواجد على قوائم أربع فئات الموسيقى والصوت والأغنية الأصلية والمؤثرات البصرية، وفيلم All Quiet on the Western Front الذي تواجد في فئات الماكياج وتصفيف الشعر والصوت والمؤثرات البصرية والموسيقى والفيلم الأجنبي، إلى جانب فيلم Elvis وفيلم Pinocchio للمخرج جيليرمو ديل تورو.
ضمت القائمة المختصرة للأفلام الوثائقية الطويلة 15 فيلمًا من بين 144 فيلمًا كانت مؤهلة للتنافس، فيما ضمت قائمة الموسيقى الأصلية 15 فيلمًا من بين 147، وضمت قائمة الأغنية الأصلية 15 فيلمًا من أصل 81 فيلمًا.
سيبدأ التصويت على هذه الترشيحات يوم 12 يناير المُقبل وينتهي يوم 17 يناير على أن يتم الإعلان عن الترشيحات النهائية عن كل الفئات يوم 24 يناير على أن تُعلن الجوائز في الحفل الذي سيُقام على مسرح دولبي الشهير بهوليوود في 12 مارس 2023، والذي يقدمه المذيع الشهير جيمي كيميل، مقدم البرنامج الأمريكي ذائع الصيت Jimmy Kimmel Live وسيُذاع على قناة ABC.
